As a full-service jeweler, we are committed to quality, craftsmanship, and creating an experience that feels both personal and enduring. From helping couples find the perfect ring to assisting families in marking anniversaries, birthdays, and once-in-a-lifetime occasions, our focus has always been on relationships, trust, and doing things the right way. Our History
Van Horne Jewelers was founded in 1926 in downtown South Bend as Van Horne & Co. Jewelers. Over the decades, the store earned a reputation for personal service, craftsmanship, and being a true full-service jewelry destination. The business later passed from the Van Horne family to the Knight family, who carried that legacy forward for decades while continuing to serve generations of customers throughout the region. In 2007, Van Horne entered a new chapter with its move to Heritage Square, positioning the store for continued growth while staying true to the values that shaped it from the beginning. Now, as Van Horne approaches its 100th year, the legacy continues through a lasting commitment to quality, service, and the meaningful moments that have always been at the heart of the business.
